Chocolate appam in 20 minutes

Ingredients:

Maida / all pupose flour - 1 cup
Powdered sugar -  1/2 to 3/4 cup ( Refer note 1)
coco powder - 1/3 cup
Milk (hot) - 1/4 cup
Instant coffee powder - 1/2 tsp
Milk - 6 tbsp
Sunflower oil - 1/4 cup
Baking powder - 1tsp
Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
A pinch of salt
Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp
Cashew nut - 5 (optional)
Chocolate sauce - 2 tbsp (optional)

Method:

1. Sift maida, coco powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt into a mixing bowl. Mix it well

2. Beat oil and sugar in a mixing bowl for a minute using a fork or whisk.

3. Add coffee powder into hot milk and mix well.

4. Mix all ingredients and make smooth batter.

5. Grease a plate with oil and pour the batter into plate. Add some nuts on top of that.

6. Steam it for 10 to 15 minutes.

7. After 10 minutes insert a spoon or tooth pick . The tooth pick should come out clean.

8. When it's done take out the plate and let it cool completely. Remove appam from the plate.

9. Garnish appam with chocolate sauce and serve it.

Note:

1. Adjust sugar according to your taste. If you are making it for kids , add 3/4 cup of powdered sugar.

2. You can make it in idli plate too.

 Pepper garlic Mushroom fry Ingredients: Butter mushroom - 200g Coconut oil / Butter - 1 Tbsp Pepper powder - 2 tsp Soy sauce - 1 tsp Garlic minced - 1 Tbsp Chopped onion - 1/2 cup Chopped capsicum - 1/4 cup Curry leaves Salt to taste   Method: 1. Into a bowl add water and mushroom . Gently clean the mushrooms . Do not soak mushroom in water for long . Drain the water completely. Place the mushrooms on a cleaned kitchen towel . Cut the mushrooms into 2 parts  if the mushrooms are big in size. 2. Into a heated pan , add coconut oil.  3. When oil heats up, add chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes. Add garlic and capsicum.
