 Eggless Biscuit Custard pudding

Preparation time : 5 Minutes

Cooking time : 5 Minutes + 2 hours for chilling (optional)

Serves - 3 to 4

 

Ingredients:

Full fat milk - 2 cup 

Melted butter - 1/4 cup

Marie gold biscuit - 10 ( Please use biscuit of your choice)

Vanilla custard powder - 2 to 3 Tbsp ( I used 2 Tbsp)

Vanilla essence - 1/4 tsp (optional)

Sugar - 5 Tbsp

Chopped banana - 1 Cup

Chopped apple - 1 cup

Pomegranate - 1/2 cup

Method :

1. Add biscuits into a food processor or mixer and grind into a coarse mixture. You can keep biscuits in a zip lock cover and crush the biscuits using a rolling pin.


2. Add melted butter into biscuits and mix well. Take a pudding bowl or glasses and layer this biscuit mixture evenly. Use a spoon or spatula to make it an even layer. Keep pudding bowl in refrigerator.


3. Mix custard powder and 1/4 cup of milk and keep it aside.


4. Keep a heavy bottom pot on stove and add milk and sugar.

5. Add Vanilla essence.

 

6. When the milk starts to boil add custard and milk mixture that we prepared before.

 

7. Stir / Whisk continuously to avoid forming any lumps.


8. The milk will start to thicken switch off the flame and stir continuously until it cool down.

 

9. Mix all fruits with 1 tbsp of sugar and keep it aside. You can use fruits of your choice. Please avoid citric content fruits like orange.

10. Let's start layering custard and fruits. Take pudding bowl that we keep inside refrigerator and layer fruit mixture on top of biscuit layer.

 

11. Pour the custard mixture on top of fruit layer.

 

12. Repeat the process of layering. Decorate with some cream or fruits . 

 

13. Keep it refrigerator for 2 hours. You can eat it without chilling also. Enjoy!!!!

 Passion fruit drinks How to make Passion fruit juice    1. Cut the passion fruits in half and pull out the flesh. Add the flesh to a blender.     2. Blend for about a minute.
