CHOCO BANANA SMOOTHIE

CHOCO BANANA SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS: Chilled milk - 1 Cup Coco powder - 1tbsp Sugar - 2 tbsp Banana - 1/2 cup or 1 medium size   METHOD:  1. Chop banana into small pieces. All all ingredients into a blender / mixer.   2. Blend well into a smooth texture. 3. Serve immediately .  You can add whipping cream or ice cream on top of it . Its optional. Enjoy !!!

EASY SOYA CHUNKS FRY IN 15 MINUTES INGREDIENTS: Soy chunks - 1 cup Water - 1/2  cup Green cardamom - 1  Oil - 1/4 cup Salt to taste Red chili powder - 2 sp Coriander powder - 1tsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Garam masala - 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp Curry leaves - 1 spring METHOD: 1. Wash the soy chunks three times by using water. 2. Add washed soy chunks, 1/2 cup of water , one green cardamom and salt into a pressure cooker. 3. Cover and cook on high heat until one whistle. Open the lid after pressure releases completely. 4. Transfer Soy chunks into a bowl. Add chili powder, coriander powder,turmeric powder, garam masala , fennel seeds and curry leaves. Mix well. 5. Heat a kadai and add oil. When oil heats up up add marinated soy chunks. 6. Roast till soy chunks become brown and crisp outside. 7. Garnish with curry leaves.

Pineapple pulissery/ Pineapple Mor kuzhambu/ Kerala Veg recipe

PINEAPPLE PULISSERY INGREDIENTS: Chopped Pineapple - 1/2 Cup Salt to taste Sugar- 2 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Water - 1.5cup Curd/Yogurt - 1 Cup FOR GRINDING: Grated coconut - 1 cup Cumin seeds/ Jeerakam - 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Shallots/ Small onion - 4 to 5 nos Green chili - 2 to 3 nos ( According to your spice level) FOR TEMPERING: Coconut oil - 2tbsp Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp Fenugreek Seeds - 1/4 tsp Dry red chili - 2 to 3 nos Curry leaves - 1 spring METHOD: 1.     Cook pineapple with salt,sugar,turmeric powder and water until the  pineapple become soft and tender.OR you can pressure cook it for 1  whistle. 2.     Grind grated coconut, cumin, turmeric powder, shallots, green chili  into a smooth paste by adding water. 3.    Add the coconut paste into cooked pineapple and mix well. Bring to boil. 4.     Beat the curd well. Add it to the curry and mix well. Switch off the stove immediately. Do not boil after adding curd. 5.

PEPPER PRAWNS ROAST (Kerala style pepper prawns roast) INGREDIENTS: Chopped onion- 1 Cup Coconut oil - 2 tbsp Green chili - 2to 3 nos ( According to your spice level) Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp Coriander powder - 1/2 tbsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp Garam masala - 1/2 tsp (optional) Curry leaves - 1spring TO MARINATE: Cleaned Prawns - 400g Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Pepper powder - 1 tsp Salt to taste Curry leaves - 1 spring METHOD: 1.    Marinate the prawns with pepper powder, turmeric powder, salt and curry leaves. keep it aside for 15 minutes. 2.    Heat a kadai and add coconut oil. When oil heat up add prawns and fry  both sides for 1 minute each. 3.     Add chopped onion to the same oil and saute well. 4.    Add green chilies and ginger garlic paste.  Saute it until the onion become brown in color. 5.     Add coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala .Saute it well until the raw smell of spices gone. 6.    Ad

FRUIT SALAD WITH HOMEMADE ICE CREAM

FRUIT SALAD WITH HOMEMADE ICE CREAM INGREDIENTS: For vanilla ice cream: Cold Whipping cream  - 250 ml Cold sweetened condensed milk - 200g Vanilla essence - 1/2 tsp For fruit salad Chopped Mixed fruits - 2 cup Honey - 1 tbsp METHOD:   1. Beat cold whipping cream on medium speed by using a hand mixer until soft peaks form. 2. Pour the cold condensed milk into whipping cream and beat  again until the mixture become thick and soft peaks form. 3. Add vanilla extract and beat for one minute. 4. Transfer this mixture into a airtight container and freeze it until it set. Vanilla ice cream is ready. 6. To make fruit salad, Mix the fruits with honey and keep in refrigerator for an hour. 7. To make fruit salad with ice cream, take bowl or ice ream cups. 8. Add fruit salad mixture into the bowl , topped with vanilla ice cream. 9. KERALA STYLE FISH FRY

KERALA STYLE FISH FRY Preparation time : 1 Hour( Including marination)                                                                  Cooking time : 30 minutes Serves 4 - 5 INGREDIENTS: Cleaned fish ( Fish steak) - 1/2 kg Oil - 1/2 Cup Curry leaves - 1 spring Salt to taste To make masala Red chili powder - 2 tsp Coriander powder - 1tsp Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp Garam masala - 1/2 tsp Pepper - 1tsp Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp Curry leaves - 1 spring Small onion - 1/4 cup Garlic - 7cloves Ginger - 1 inch piece Vinegar/ Lemon juice - 1 tsp  METHOD: 1. Grind all items under listed to make masala , by adding some water. Make a fine paste. Fish masala is ready. 2. Marinate fish with salt, curry leaves and fish masala. Keep it aside for 30 minutes. 3. Heat a skillet on medium heat. Add oil . When oil heats up, add marinated fish pieces. 4. Shallow fry the fish pieces till done or crisp on the outside. Flip the fish pieces to even brown

QUICK MICROWAVE EGGLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE IN 90 SECONDS INGREDIENTS: All purpose flour/ Maida - 3 tbsp Coco powder - 1tbsp Powdered sugar - 3 tbsp Baking powder - 1/2 tsp A pinch of salt Sunflower oil / Coconut oil / melted butter - 3 tbsp Milk - 3 tbsp Vanilla essence - 1/4 tsp Dark chocolate cubes/ grated - 1/4 cup METHOD: 1.  Take a microwave safe bowl ( minimum 250 ml capacity) and add all purpose flour , coco powder, powdered sugar, baking powder and salt. 2. Mix well. Add oil, milk and vanilla essence. Mix well. 3. Add dark chocolate cubes and mix well. 4. Microwave ( 900 w) it for 90 seconds. The time depends on power set on microwave oven.
